LIHEAP is a program that Tallatoona provides to all qualifying low-income families, disabled individuals and elderly in our eight county service delivery area. The LIHEAP funds can assist with starting new heating services, paying tank rentals and/or delivery, and to stop the disconnect of heating services. The funds can also assist in situations where the account is current as long as the household applies, qualifies, and is approved.

I brought my information to the center in person. I've yet to be notified if I was approved for assistance. Georgia Power informed me as of September 9th 2020 my services will be disconnected.
i went to Tallatoona Serices to know what was the required information at 145 Academy Dr.on Friday, July 31, 2020. Later the same day I received an email and a telephone call, telling me to bring my proof of income, social security card and the birth certificate of all that live in the home on Monday, August 3, 2020 and I did so.No one has contacted me to let me know if I was approved for assistance. My service is also scheduled to be disconnected on September 9, 2020.
I hope you're all well; not sure if you're open due to covid & am wondering when you'll begin taking applications for HEAP - it's been the most helpful of all this year. Can I apply thru this site online? I know you usually start in Nov & find out at the library, but I haven't been there since the pandemic started.
cannot schedule on line
I applied almost two weeks ago and I haven't heard anything yet and I was being to worry because if I don't pay the 200 passed due they are going to cut my power.
