About Palm Beach County Community Action Program - Riviera Beach - LIHEAP

Each day in Palm Beach County hundreds of families are faced with utility service disconnection. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to provide financial relief from high-energy costs to prevent service disconnection for families in crisis.

Extensive Outreach Campaigns are conducted to ensure maximum participation of the neediest families. Particular efforts are made to serve the elderly and those with special needs, including home visits, telephone interviews and group intakes.

Applications for assistance may be made by contacting the nearest Community Action Service Center.

My family and I need emergency assistance in paying our rent our landlord at the Abbey of Northlake on Congress and blue Heron Blvd gave us a three day notice to evacuate the premises. We have until tomorrow Friday May 9, 2019 to pay the rent in full plus the late fee. Please help us I have three small children in the household.

My name is Roderick, I have a 13yr old son Roderick Pierce Jr. His mother passed away. I'm looking for some type of assistance and guidance threw this hardship. His mother was the head of the household, she had a disability (kidney disorder) as well as my son has a disability also. The bank has frozen all accounts and fund's. My appointment with social security isn't until June 16. That's 2mths with no fund's. I need help! He had just got braces in his mouth. Along with he's glasses needs to be updated. Please can I have a case worker, or someone to help guide me threw to get our life on track.
