The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded grant program that provides assistance to low- income households that spend a disproportionate amount of household income for home energy costs.
Interested applicants should contact the MCCAA County Outreach Office in which they live for more information or to have an application mailed. Applicants must return applications via mail or in person to their local outreach office.
Counties served: Rutherford CountyI received assistance from Mid-Cumberland last year and wanted to know if I can apply again. I believe I applied in April and received the assistance in July.
