The HEAP program (Home Energy Assistance Program) is a goverment funded program that provides eligible Ohioans assistance with their home energy bills.
This is a one time benefit is applied directly to the customer's utility bill or bulk fuel bill.
Eligibility: Ohioans with a household income at or below 175 percent of the federal poverty guidelines are eligible for the program.

Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) is a federally funded program designed to help income eligible Ohioans with their water and wastewater bills. Eligible clients are those at or below 175% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG), who have been disconnected (or have a disconnection notice), or either need to establish new service, or pay to transfer service can receive assistance.
