About Lakeland Electric Project Care

In partnership with Catholic Charities of Central Florida, Lakeland Electric is pleased to offer a program that assists those less fortunate. Round-Up for Project Care is a voluntary program that offers our customers an opportunity to help low-income seniors and disabled members of our community pay their utility bills. Customers may donate in three ways: a one-time donation, by selecting a monthly donation amount, or by participating in our Round-Up program. Counties served: Polk County

I need help with my electric bill , I live off my disability and I have asthma

I need help with my electric bill this month. My rental income, that I depend on, was delinquent this month. I depend on this, along with SSA to maintain my budget. I am a senior citizen recovering from hospitalization due to pneumonia (COVID survivor with history of COPD).Thanks be to God. It will be my honor to reimburse this funding next month. [The renter has taken on a new job and anticipates paying in December. In accordance with the law, am avoiding eviction. I am trusting him to follow-through by December 14th.]
