LIHEAP assists low-income households that pay a high portion of their income to meet their energy needs, and provides one-time financial assistance to help balance an eligible household's utility bill.
The application packet must be completed in full and submitted to the Del Norte Senior Center along with copies of all utility bills, proof of income and identification for all household members. Completed applications and documentation may be submitted by email to energyua@dnsc1.org. If you need assistance completing the application or have additional questions about the program, you may call (707) 464-3069 between 9:00 a.m and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
