About Pima County Community Service Dept

CAA combats poverty and provides a safety net of basic services for low-income individuals and families in Pima County. Connects immediate assistance with case management and additional resources to promote self-sufficiency and economic independence.

Administers local Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

Purpose:
Energy assistance programs, coordinated among federal and state governments and utility companies, are available to help low-income households meet their energy needs. Community Services subcontracts with community agencies to administer the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). This program assists with utility deposits and bill payments.
